MEANDERING OF MEKONG DELTA

upon on arrivel time Vietnam Adventure Cycling Tour guide will be at the airport for pick you up and transfer to hotel  for checking in. free and leisure . in the afternoon we will spend a bit time for bike fitting before welcome dinner. Our guide will briefing the general information for our journey .overnight in Ho chi minh city. Activities :

Our day will start with the 2 hours transfer out of Ho Chi Minh To Cai Lay , from here the team will be ready and we cycle along the back road follow the bussy networth of Cannal in mekong detail . getting deeper into the village passing orchard garden to visit to ricepaper , poprice making factory have some local tea to recover and learn more about mekong living life. jump on the boat and cruising crossing the mekong river to the local restaurant after back to the cruise to continue the journey cycling to local family who run the homestay , Mr Ba Linh , you will have a chance to stay in the typical mekong traditional house. dinner and over night in the homestay. Activities :

You could wake up early morning to see children rush to school and morning activies not only in land but also on water,your day will start with a boat trip to cycling point from there we cycle on tiny concrete road along the river bank get through the orchard garden with so many type of fruit , here you will have a chance to try to local fresh fruit ,30 second from the tree to the plate, continue heading east to Ben tre where we going to have lunch , after lunch the scenery will be changed a bit from the orchard gardern to the coconut gardern, crossing the several local ferry from this village to another ,and the last fery will crosing mekong river again to Tra Vinh city and keep paddling to our hotel in Tra vinh for overnight . From the hotel we will paddle to visit Khmer museum, Clay Pagoda, and Bat Pagoda, before along ride to Bac Lieu. Stop for lunch at the former residence mandarin's son of Bac Lieu , whose parents were the richest people in the Mekong Delta region during the former time of Indochina. Named Tran Trinh Huy, he spent money like water. Transfer to Ca Mau in the late afternoon. Stay overnight in Ca Mau city. Activities :

Today will be the easy day , instead of cycling we will spending time to visiting and relaxing only ,we will transfer from the hotel to the ferry dot where we going to take the speed boat follow the river to the lowest point of vietnam by crossing the National Park of Cape Ca Mau, where there are about 150 hectares of mangroves had been plant. Mangrove trees form an important natural barrier against natural disasters and in some way protect the Mekong Delta. back on the boat and transfer back to the beautiful hotel free and leisure by your own .overnight in Ca Mau. It depends on weather condition, We will arrange a bike ride to Upper U - Minh forest, spend 1 1/2 hours by row boat to a mangrove forest: taste wild honey and observe thousand of bats, storks and birds in a big mangrove forest. This is an opportunity for you to have special dishes such as, snake, eel and so on... After lunch, cycle Rach Gia.. Activities:

After breakfast at the hotel we will starting our Adventure cycling trip to Chau Doc city follow the boder line betwent Vietnam and cambodia .you will have chance to understand the different life between two country have lunch at the local restaurent.after that keep cycling until you reach the hotel.overnight in Chau Doc city.. Activities:

After having breakfast at the hotel. We leave for the floating houses on upper Mekong river by boat where we can see plenty of catfishes, red snappers… breeding under right their houses. What is an amazing life! Then keep boating to visit the Cham village with about 12.000 people who those are weaving sarongs, hats…by hands as keeping their ancestral tradition. Walk to the mosques that Muslims pray and teach Cham kids in Arabic for a while. Cruising back to the Van for our cycling. The bike and the team will be ready to waiting for us.we will cycle along the tiny concrete road passing rice field, lotus swamp under the shade of the mangrove tree to The killing field in vietnam, Ba chuc, take a short time to visite and learn why it happend in vietnam in 1978. keep paddling to the local restaurant for lunch .then heading to Long xuyen city on the bike .we will do a short transfer when we get closer to the city to avoid the traffic Activities:

The easy cycling day starting with 30 minute transfer out of the city.We will follow the concrete road along the small canal in the mekong delta in the morning .we will stope for visit the bird centuary before we reach the retaurant for luch.After that we keep cycling untill we reach the hotel.the city we are going stay tonight that is the capital city in the southwest of vietnam so it depend on you.you could get on the bus transfer to the hotel Activities:

The lazy day for all of you starting with the boat trip to sightseeing the floating maket name cairang floatting market,one of the big floatting maket in the mekong delta.we will introduce to you the way they do tradding on the water.you will know how the live ,how they do …..ect .. before you going back to the land to see our bus .then the bus will take you going back to Ho Chi Minh city Activities:
