Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (-)
Welcome to Hanoi Vietnam
VietnamTour.com’s tour guide welcomes you at Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi city) then transfer to your hotel in the city center.
This evening enjoys an introduction talk to Vietnam’s fascinating past by our tour guide and a welcome drinks at a nice coffee shop by lake side.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour - night train to Sapa (B)
This morning, we will start a fullday city tour to Ho Chi Minh mausoleum complex and move to Van Mieu (the temple of literature).
In afternoon, Ethnology museum should not be missed, there, you will understand more about our culture life of 54 minority groups in Vietnam. Get back to the old quarter to visit Ngoc Son temple that located at a side of Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoy the walking tour in the old city to discover the local life. Late evening, tranfer to Hanoi railway station for night train to Lao Cai.
Day 3: Lao Cai station arrival – uphill to Sapa (B)
Wake early and marvel at the remarkable scenery as you roll into Lao Cai station - 30km from Sapa town. On arrival at around 5am, be picked up and transferred uphill to Sapa town
Enjoy breakfast before exploring this scenic and cultural area of French style town - Sapa. Today visit Sapa’s market to see traders selling their wares, journey to the top of Ham Rong Mountain. Next, visit a local ethnic minority village – Ta Phin - to gain an insight into the life and culture of these unique hill tribes. Return to your hotel late afternoon
Day 4: Sapa excursion - Night train to Hanoi (B)
Get up in the foggy morning and enjoy your breakfast. The pure atmosphere and stunning scenery of highland town, Sapa will help you freshen up.
Depends on the date we have two options: to visit ethnic minority villages around Sapa or drive to Bac Ha market on Sunday, Coc Ly market on Tuesday or Can Cau Market on Saturday. There, you can watch and even join trading activities of real hill-tribe people.
Late afternoon, say goodbye to peaceful and quiet town, Sapa then transfer to Lao Cai Railway Station for a night train back to Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi - Ha Long bay cruise overnight (B/L/D)
Arrive in Hanoi early morning, check in the hotel by the gate of railway station, relax and enjoy breakfast there. Today, we will depart directly to the Halong bay. Upon arrival of Halong bay port; check in to your private cabin on traditional Halong bay junk.
The junk sets sail while you enjoy some welcome drink and see off the busy seaport. The cruise enters the bay with a short brief of cruise manager then you will have a sumptuous seafood lunch and spend the afternoon cruising pass the many limestone peaks and islands. Relax on deck of the cruise this afternoon and overnight onboard
Day 6: Halong bay – Hanoi train to Hue (Brunch)
Wake early as the mist rises over the Halong bay, an ideal time to take pictures. Enjoy breakfast and continue your Halong cruise trip, after the brunch then clear bill while returning to shore. Our vehicle picks you up at the Halong port then transfer back to Hanoi, en route visit at Dong Trieu Ceramic Village to get some souvenirs handicrafts.
Free time till transfer to Railway Station for night train to Hue - the last imperial city

Day 7: Hue arrival and city tour (B)
Arrive in Hue in morning then take some times for relax then our private car with guide takes you for a Hue city tour with a visit to the Royal Imperial Citadel (Dai Noi), the Forbidden Palace to find out the luxurious lives of the Nguyen Kings under the feudal regime.
A cyclo tour around the charm city before your dinner under your own management.
Day 8: Hue - transfer to Hoian (B)
Continue to see more about Hue city with Royal tombs of Tu Duc King and Khai Dinh King. These tombs reflect the luxury in their afterlife of Kings and also show the styles of each King. After lunch, we proceed to Hoian – another Cultural World Heritage in Central. Stop en-route at Hai Van Pass where offers stunning view towards the ocean, for photo-taking. Arrive in Hoi an late afternoon and free time
Day 9: Hoian half day tour (B)
Our guide will take you to the most highlights of the town including: Phuc Kien pagoda, Tan Ky Ancien house and Japanese bridge
We leave the rest of today for your own management to visit handicraft workshops or tailor shops. Another choice is to rent a bike to easy cycle to Cua Dai beach to enjoy wonderful swimming there.
Day 10: Hoian – fly to Nha trang (B)
Last swim on the beach and see the Ancient town, we move South ward to most well-known coastal city of Vietnam, Nha trang.
Taking 1 hour flight in afternoon, we will arrive in wonderful beaches of Nha trang. Transfer to Nha trang then free time to enjoy sea winds and waves
Day 11: Day 11: Nha Trang Cultural tour (B)
Nha trang is a city favor by nature. But its history and culture are very interesting.
Today, you will be taken from the south to the north of Nha Trang to visit the most highlighted sites of the city including: Long Son Pagoda, Bao Dai Villa (vacation home of the last emperor of Vietnam ), Oceanographic Institute, Ponagar Temple built in 8th century and Chong Promontory (Two big rocks called husband & wife rock ). We end up the day at Dam Market.
Day 12: Nha Trang free day (B)
Nha trang is interesting city enough for you to self-enjoy. Swimming, sunbathing or sightseeing services are all easy to access. Free time today to enjoy the city in your very own way
Day 13: Nha Trang fly to Sai gon (B)
Morning in splendid Nha trang, we wake up early and enjoy romantic sunrise over the sparkling ocean. Then we leave Nha trang for Sai gon (Ho Chi Minh city) by a short flight – approx 1 hour.
Arrive in the most modern city of Vietnam, you will be taken to the best highlights of Sai gon with: Independent Palace, War Remnants Museum, Post Office, North Dame Cathedral and some free time at one of its bustling markets.
Day 14: Cu chi tour by Speed boat (B)
Cu chi tunnel is a well-known place to show an important part of Vietnam history. We do not drive to this place as usual but taking a speed boat to along river to reach the tunnel.
The speed boat takes about 1 hour offering unique experience to feel the history combine with nature around. That’s the way we making the different experience in a typical classic journey. Back to Sai gon in mid afternoon then free time
Day 15: Mekong Delta excursion (B)
Today, we drive down deeply in to Mekong Delta to explore its unique water lifestyle.
Take a sampan ride to sail along downstream of Mekong River to visit local garden house, orchids and farms in My Tho. You may enjoy lunch with local host of orchards (excluded) then drive back to Ho Chi Minh city. Free time in afternoon; take time to see more about Sai gon and shopping at one of this markets
Day 16: Sai gon - Departure (B)
Free time at your own pace. Free till transfer to airport for your next destinations or home country. We do hope to see you very soon in next trip to Vietnam
